Malayalam department conducted the programme ‘World Folklore Day’ on 22-08-2019 in malayalm department library hall (Kummini Hall) at 10.30 a.m. Dr. Seethal V.S. gave a welcome speech. Principal Prof. D. Jayaprasad inaugurated the programme. Head of the Dept. Dr. Reena A.M. chaired the function. Felicitation had done by Mrs. Sreelatha E.,(Asst.professor, dept.of Malayalam) Chief guest Mr. P.R. Ramesh (Director, Karinthalakkoottam)
P.R.ramesh is one of the famous folk artist. He told about the folk culture of kerala. He presented many folktales and folksongs related with our culture
Mrs. Maya S. Nair, (Asst.professor, Dept.of Malayalam) gave vote of thanks. Many students participated in the programme.
